Compliance Chief Sheena Kanabar Leaves ADSS for Capital.com

Fazzaco learned that an experienced Compliance leader, Sheena Kanabar, has joined Capital.com, a Forex and CFDs broker, as Group Chief Compliance Officer. Sheena boasts a demonstrable track record of managing teams across Europe and the Middle East in all aspects of regulatory compliance and the prevention of financial crime. 

Prior to Capital.com, she was Group Chief Compliance Officer at ADSS, Abu Dhabi-based retail and institutional Forex & CFDs broker, for almost two years.

Previously, Sheena spent over eleven years at CMC Markets, a leading global provider of financial spread betting and CFDs. She joined the company as Compliance Manager in June 2010. In September 2017, she became Head of Compliance for UK and Europe.

In her new role, Sheena will manage and oversee Capital.com's global compliance teams and ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards and policies across the organisation. She will be based in London, and report to Peter Hetherington, Group Chief Executive Officer.

This appointment comes after Capital.com's hiring of Michael Baker​ as its Head of UK Premium Clients.
