CXM Prime Secures FCA License, Names Ashraf Sleiman Agha as CEO

London-based forex and CFDs broker CXM Prime, part of CXM Group, announced on Tuesday that it has been authorized by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to offer brokerage services in the country.
At the same time, the broker also appointed Muinmos ApS's Board Member Ashraf Sleiman Agha as its CEO and Peter Wilson as its Head of Compliance.
Agha has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry. Previously, he held key leadership roles at leading companies in the industry including GCEX, Marex Spectron and Saxo Bank. In addition, he has served as a strategic advisor to companies such as 4T and Financial Crime Intelligence Ltd.
Agha founded London-based management consultancy Scandic Management Ltd in 2015 and also co-founded CFH Markets (now Finalto) in 2008.
Agha commented on the appointment: "This is an exciting opportunity intersecting top liquidity and prime providers. I relish the opportunity to expand the geographical reach of CXM Prime and bring our industry expertise to clients in the UK and overseas. Wilson boasts of almost 30 years of industry experience from working with regulated investment management, forex and CFD firms. Prior to CXM Prime, he held compliance positions at ATFX, Capital Index, IKON Finance, ICM Capital and Finotec.
Last month, retail broker Eurotrader Group also received a regulatory license from the FCA to operate locally.
