CySEC Revokes AIFM Operation License of Inveqo Fund Management Ltd

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) announced today (6 February 2024) the withdrawal of the Alternative Investment Fund Managers (AIFM) authorisation with number AIFM32/56/2013 of Inveqo Fund Management Ltd.

The decision to revoke the CIF authorisation of the aforementioned entity was made on the Cypriot regulator's meeting of 29 January 2024, pursuant to article 12(1)(a) of the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Law.

CySEC explained that it made the decision because Inveqo Fund Management Ltd has voluntarily renounced the authorisation.

This move comes after the watchdog's cancellation AIFM authorisation of Polyvalent Capital Management Ltd.

Last month, Fazzaco reported that CySEC has withdrawn the Investment Investors Compensation Fund  membership​ of four members.
