The past week saw several firms in the financial sector wind down their operations amid the gloomy economic environment. On Thursday, Silvergate Capital Corporation, the holding company for Silvergate Bank, announced its intent to wind down operations and voluntarily liquidate the Bank in an orderly manner and in accordance with applicable regulatory processes. Earlier this week, fintech firm Catch also revealed its plans of business closure after six years' operation.

1. Devexperts - Head of Maintenance & Support Department
Devexperts, one of the leading platform technology developers in the foreign exchange industry, is looking for a Head of Maintenance & Support Department. The individual will manage a direct a team of 100 engineers, lead the development of the team's vision and strategy.
Requirement:
Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or Management, or equivalent work experience;
3+ years of relevant experience managing the support department (50+ employees);
Experience communicating with customers (preferably on the support side);
ITIL or another regulatory framework knowledge;
fluent English, both written and spoken, is a must.
CMC Markets, a leading global provider of financial spread betting and CFDs, is seeking for a Liquidity Risk Manager. The role will assist in ensuring that mandated aspects of financial risk are correctly captured, reported and scrutinised in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
Strong financial services experience including 2- 5 years of liquidity risk/treasury experience;
Excellent MS Excel skills – including experience of VBA macros;
Knowledge and experience of FCA ICARA/IFPR regulation;
Desirable:
Professional qualification(s) (Accountancy ACA/CIMA, Treasury ACT, CFA;
Python and SQL knowledge;
