eToro Money Now Available in Austria

eToro, a leading social trading provider, announced the launch of eToro Money in Austria, which follows the expansion of the service in other European countries, including France, Malta, Monaco, Portugal, UK​, Ireland, Romania, Cyprus as well as Italy and Spain. 

eToro Money is an account and app changed from eToro wallet​. The app connects with eToro investment account, offering free and instant deposits. Besides, users will be free from conversion fees when funding their investment account.

In addition to the cash account, the app also offers a Visa debit card and  eToro Money Crypto Wallet(formerly "eToro Wallet"). The functionalities of the app has been regularly expanded. In May, eToro announced to allow its clients to use their eToro Money account for Direct Debit payments, which are the most common ways for customers to pay companies.

eToro has been expanding its global footprint. Most recently, the broker has received registration from OAM​ to operate in Italy and has inked a definitive agreement to acquire options trading app Gatsby for around $50 million in cash and common stock, as a part of its expansion to the US.
