Exclusive: Spyros Papachristoforou Promoted as Chief Technology Officer at IC Markets

Fazzaco learned that IC Markets, an Australian-based online retail forex and contract for difference (CFD) broker, has promoted Spyros Papachristoforou as its Chief Technology Officer.

Spyros has extensive experience of working in the financial services industry. As seen on his Linkedin profile, he originally joined IC Markets in 2017 as a System Administrator. Then, he reached the senior position of Head of IT/TPA, a role he held up until this month, paving the way for his promotion.

Prior to joining IC Markets, Spyros spent over four years at Meritservus Secretaries Ltd, a premium professional services firm based in Limassol. Before that, he had stints at MeritKapital Ltd and DI Ross & Co Ltd as Systems/Network Administrator at both companies.

IC Markets is a fast-growing company with an impressive global footprint in the FX and CFD space. The company has announced major hires to ramp up its international growth plans. The promotion of Spyros follows the recent appointments of Andreas Skianis, the company's Head of Partners, and Pamilla Queiroz​, Client Relationship Manager.
