1. Coinbase Appoints Marc Robinson as APAC Head of Market Operations

Crypto exchange Coinbase has appointed Marc Robinson as the company's APAC Head of Market Operations.

Marc brings with over 20 years financial services experience to Coinbase. As seen on his Linkedin profile, he joins Coinbase from BitMEX, one of the world's leading cryptocurrency derivatives exchanges, where he served as Global Head of Custody.

2. Crypto.com Appoints Dipen Mehta as EVP, Engineering, South & South East Asia

Crypto.com, the world's fastest growing cryptocurrency platform, has named Dipen Mehta as EVP, Engineering, South & South East Asia. In his role, Mehta will be responsible for building out technology expertise and engineering capabilities across South and South East Asia, with an immediate focus on setting up engineering hubs in India and Vietnam.

3. Robin Bulloch Promoted as CEO at TSB Bank

The Board of TSB, with the support of Sabadell, is pleased to announce the permanent appointment of Robin Bulloch as CEO. Robin has led TSB on an interim basis for the past four months, and prior to that was Chief Customer Officer.  

Robin has a strong track record in retail banking spanning over four decades, working in leadership roles for Royal Bank of Scotland, Tesco Bank and Lloyds Banking Group, before joining TSB in 2019.

4. BDSwiss Introduces New Trading Analytics Tool

Multi-regulated FX and CFDs broker, BDSwiss announced that it has launched a new trader mentoring tool—Trade Companion.

The tool is designed to collect individual trading data and create a comprehensive view of one's trading history and patterns, offering traders unique insights into their personal trading performance. Trade Companion is now available exclusively to BDSwiss VIP/Raw account holders.

5. Deutsche Börse Reports 24% Y/Y Rise in Net revenue in Q1 2022

Fazzaco learned that Deutsche Börse Group has just published its quarterly statement Q1/2022, revealing increase in key metrics.

Net revenue rose by 24 per cent to €1,061.6 million in the first quarter of 2022, mainly due to increased trading activity. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased to €687.4 million, a 32 per cent rise.

6. Robinhood Markets Posts 43% Y/Y Drop in Total Net Revenues for Q1 2022

Robinhood Markets, Inc. ("Robinhood") (NASDAQ: HOOD) today announced financial results for the first quarter, which ended March 31, 2022.

Total net revenues decreased 43% to $299 million, compared with $522 million in the first quarter of 2021. Transaction-based revenues decreased 48% to $218 million, compared with $420 million in the first quarter of 2021.
