1. India Freezes OctaFX's Bank Account for Illegal FX Trading
In the matter of illegal online forex trading through foreign brokers in accordance with the Foreign Exchange Management Act, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) of India has frozen the bank account balance of OctaFX and its affiliated businesses to the tune of Rs. 21.14 crore (FEMA).
The Reserve Bank of India has published a "warning list" with the names of 34 organizations, including OctaFX, that are not permitted to conduct currency business or run electronic trading platforms in India.

In a blog post, Huobi Global said About will "control the majority stake" of Huobi once the deal closes; it said the ownership transfer will have no impact on trading operations.
5. TD Securities Connects with Visa's B2B Payments Network
Canada-based TD Securities recently became the first financial organization in the country to be a part of the international business-to-business (B2B) payments network known as Visa B2B Connect.
B2B Connect aims to make multinational corporate cross-border payments simpler by simplifying transactions from the bank of origin to the bank of the beneficiary.
6. FTX Taps Visa to Issue Crypto Debit Cards in 40 Countries
Crypto exchange FTX has partnered with payment services giant Visa to issue crypto debit cards and enable crypto payments in 40 countries around the world.
The partnership will see the exchange roll out debit cards to its customers' accounts in Latin America first, with Europe and Asia following soon.
7. Swissquote Introduces Proprietary Crypto Platform "SQX"
Swissquote announced recently via social media, that "after months of hard work, the crypto trading platform made in Swissquote is ready for its launch. Your assets will now be managed without intermediaries, stored and traded on SQX."
Customers of Swissquote can currently trade cryptocurrencies either through the eBanking portal's cryptocurrency service or the eTrading platform's cryptocurrency service.
