FXCM' UK Unit Reports 77.5% Increase in Comprehensive Income for 2022

Stratos Markets Limited (formerly known as Forex Capital Markets Limited , or "FXCM UK"), the British unit of FXCM group, has unveiled its trading data for 2022 in a regulatory filing, seeing a significant increase of 77.5% in total comprehensive income.
More specifically, during 2022, the UK subsidiary reported its total comprehensive income of $860,552, increasing by 77.5% compared to $227,982 in 2021.
The turnover during the period came in at $10,736,093, 12.8% lower than $12,096,854 in the prior year. By contrast, the operating profit jumped by 119.7% from $201,696 in 2021 to $443,214, and the profit on ordinary activities before tax rose by 168.1% from $283,174 to $759,159.
Client cash held as the UK unit dropped by 3.3% from $147.0 million in 2021 to $142.2 million in 2022. Capital resources during the year reduced from $64.5 million in the prior year to $64.4 million.
FXCM is actively engaged in its rebranding. Recently, in addition to renaming its UK division to Stratos Markets Limited, FXCM's Australian and Cypriot divisions have also changed their names to Stratos Trading Pty. Ltd and Stratos Europe Ltd, respectively.
