How to Choose a Bridge Vendor

Source: Fazzaco
When it comes to evaluating a broker’s strength and making a broker outstanding in a fiercely competitive market, the bridge performance really matters. The qualification, stability and professionalism of a bridge vendor to a certain degree determines a broker’s overall competitiveness in the market. The 4 factors listed below are the things you need to care about when you strive to outperform others.
1. How long has the firm engaged in bridge technology?
By nature, new technologies are prone to pitfalls, thus a technology company that has been programming bridges for four years versus two is far more likely to have overcome many unforeseen hurdles.  In addition, new software is not easy to reverse engineer and reproduce.  As such, the inventor of a software technology will overcome challenges and improve upon their package in each subsequent release, where as an imitation that enters the market will not have the benefit of this experience.
2. Who are the vendor’s clients?
Huawei has demonstrated its capability in 5G with its annually growing smartphone shipments, thus becoming an competitive candidate in building network highway in many countries including the UK, Germany, and African countries.
The logic is true in choosing a bridge vendor. A bridge should be established between MT4 servers and multiple banks or liquidity providers. If a vendor has been endorsed by large banks, companies, or even government departments or granted any form of endorsement, or it has proved its ability to response to complexities and large number of forex traders and users by making use of its expertise, redundant system, and other means, then the company can be deemed trustworthy.
If the bridge vendor has already built a bridge from Metatrader 4 to the bank that you work with, then it would be done so in an easily replicable manner.
3. Customer Service & Support
The forex market is changing constantly, so it would be assuring if the customer service can stay online 24 hours online so that any questions can be answered and any request can be heard. Perhaps your company and your customers are located in, say, two countries in two time zones. You’ll need 24 hour support while the primary markets are open. Don’t look for those vendors who outsource the service to overseas phone centers.
4. Can you outperform others with the vendor’s service?
On top of the normal features of bridging MT4 servers to liquidity providers, there are many additional functions that may help you outstand in the market and provide diversified services to your customers, such as MT4 Admin Plugins, positive slippage, expert advisor, and multiple account management system.
