IG Group Appoints New Chief Operating Officer and Chief Risk Officer

Following the recent departures of several senior executives, including Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Charlie Rozes, Chief Operating Officer (COO) Jon Noble, and Global Head of Marketing Partnerships Aneira Henery-Morley, IG Group, a global online trading company offering CFDs and Forex, announced new appointments for COO and Chief Risk Officer (CRO).
Over the weekend, the Group revealed on LinkedIn that Jody Dunn and Sarah Gore Langton have been appointed as COO and CRO, respectively, pending regulatory approval.
Jody Dunn, currently Head of Risk at IG Group, will succeed Jon Noble as COO. With over 21 years of experience within the group, Dunn possesses a deep understanding of the company's internal workflow and all aspects of its business. According to her LinkedIn profile, Dunn joined IG Group as a sales trader in September 2002 and has since held various positions including Head of Futures, Head of Dealing, Head of Trading Analytics, and Head of Market Risk. Dunn holds a BA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Finance from London Business School.
Sarah Gore Langton, the Chief Compliance Officer, will assume the role of CRO of IG Group. Langton joined the company in November 2015 from BlackRock as Compliance Manager for EMEA & UK. In September 2017, she was promoted to the Group's Chief Compliance Officer. Langton holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Cambridge.
In the latest LinkedIn post, the Group stated, "Both are long standing employees who have played pivotal roles in helping to build the high-quality reputation IG has become known for. We are pleased to be able to recognise the deep pools of talent at IG and the further progression of women in our business."
