LCG Adds Two FX Industry Veterans to Management Team

Fazzaco learned that London Capital Group (LCG), a UK FCA-regulated spreadbetting and CFD trading provider, has added two FX industry veterans from ADSS to strengthen its management team. Among them, Ash Elgarf has been appointed as Head of Dealing and Dan Benton as Head of Sales.

Prior to LCG, Ash worked at ADSS, an Abu Dhabi-based financial services firm, for nearly 5 years, where he held roles of Head of Sales Trading and Head of Dealing for London successively. He had also served as Head of HNW Sales and Trading in ETX Capital. His career started in 2002 as Dealer at IG Group, a global online brokerage firm where he served for 15 years, having held various positions including Head of Premier Execution Desk and Senior Institutional Client Manager.

Dan also joined LCG from ADSS, where he served as Senior Sales Trader for approximately 4 years. Prior to ADSS, he had held roles in several leading financial firms, such as Senior Account Executive at CMC Markets and Account Executive at IG Group. In 1994, Dan started his career at Credit Lyonnais Rouse in the Bullion back office before moving out to the front office and onto the LME desk.

Last December, the former COO of ADSS, Dave Worsfold​, also moved to LCG as CEO. Other executives who joined the company at the same time as Dave include Managing Director Matt Basi and Head of Sales and Trading Stuart Dorward.
