LSEG eFX Sales Head Joshua Cater Moves to Bloomberg

Joshua Cater, a seasoned eFX sales professional, has left London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) for Bloomberg as eFX Sales - Electronic Trading FXGO. FXGO is the premier multi-bank FX trading platform that provides powerful functionality for price takers to execute FX transactions.

Joshua spent more than four years at LSEG. He joined the company as Director, eFX Sales in January 2019. In August 2021, he was promoted to EMEA Head of Sales, eFX, leading the EMEA New Business Sales division, driving growth and success for LSEG's eFX trading platform and venues businesses.

From March 2016 to January 2019, Joshua served State Street as Sales & Trading, eFX. Previously, he worked as FX Dealer - Cash and Options at Western Union Business Solutions, a global leader in foreign exchange and international payments.

Earlier, Joshua worked at City Index, a global leader in FX & CFD trading, focused on Sales & Trading, Multi-Asset.

In March, Fazzaco reported that Bloomberg has elevated Sophia Barnes​ to Global Marketing Manager, with remits of overseeing global commodities and data marketing.
