NAGA, Robinhood, ATFX and Other Four Companies Are Hiring Now

For around the past week, another bunch of companies have unveiled their job cuts plans consecutively to reduce costs as the darkening economic backdrop continued to throw a slew of knotted challenges. These firms are mainly in the investment banking, asset management and tech segments.

JPMorgan Chase & Co has conducted the second round of culls in Asia this year, with about 20 investment bankers dismissed this time.

Following the completion of the takeover of embattled rival Credit Suisse last week, UBS disclosed that it would significantly downsize investment bankers at Credit Suisse covering Australia and China.

Besides, the investment management firm BlackRock planned to axe less than 1% of its workforce as a result of budget reallocations. Singapore-based tech giant Grab Holdings would slash 1,000 jobs, for the purpose of shortening its initial timeline to hit its profitability target.

Given the state of the broader economy, the current employment environment is far from ideal. Despite this, Fazzaco recently found that multiple financial firms, brokerages in particular, are strengthening their operations and compliance teams with new hires. Let's look at what jobs they're offering and what are the responsibilities.

1. NAGA - Product Manager

NAGA, a German-based leading FinTech company, is looking for a Product Manager to join its growing team based in Limassol, Cyprus.

As a Product Manager at NAGA, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the company’s fintech products. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of product strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional user experiences.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in the fintech industry

• Track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects

• Strong understanding of financial technology products, including trading platforms, payment systems, and cryptocurrencies

2. Robinhood - Manager of Treasury and Cash Management

Crypto and stock trading app Robinhood is looking for Manager of Treasury and Cash Management, with remits of ensuring customer cash movements are processed accurately and in compliance with all applicable regulatory rules and regulations.

The preferred location for this position is in or around Robinhood's offices in NYC, NY or Menlo Park, CA or Seattle WA. However, remote work in limited geographies within the U.S. may be considered. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in finance, accounting, business, or relevant work experience

• 5+ years experience in Brokerage Operations, Financial Services, or related field

3. ATFX - Account Manager

The leading fintech broker ATFX is hiring Account Manager. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

• Sound experience in client-facing duties such as customer service or sales (business development/account management), preferably within the financial industry

• Experience within the forex or financial trading industry is a definite advantage

4. Ripple - Financial Risk Manager

Blockchain company Ripple is seeking a Financial Risk Manager.

As a member of Ripple’s Financial Risk team, you’ll play a critical role in identifying, quantifying, and mitigating the financial risks present across Ripple's business lines. You'll work cross-functionally with many Ripple teams including Sales, Business Development, Trading and Markets, Legal, Product, Engineering, and Finance to simultaneously enable growth and manage Risk.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial markets, credit risk management, finance, trading, or related financial services roles.

5. Binance - Dispute Analyst

Responsibilities:

• As the frontlines of the P2P market, you and the team will arbitrate customer disputes professionally

• Investigate trading activity and take appropriate actions to keep the marketplace safe and prevent fraudulent activity

• Create a culture and processes which achieve the business goals and objectives with regard to the customer service

• Make sure customer and complainant surveys are carried out continuously in order to produce timely, up to date information about customer experience across all areas of the business

Requirements:

• 1+ years experience of proven customer-facing experience or experience as a customer service representative

• Knowledge of blockchain, crypto, and P2P payments is a big plus

• Fluency in English is a must with multilingual capability is a big plus

• Strong ability in using IT for professional use and can handle somewhat technical queries from customers

• A Binance P2P user is highly preferred

6. OANDA - Sales Account Executive (Mandarin Language Fluency)

Requirements:

• Min. 2-3 years phone-based sales / customer service experience

• Fluent English and Mandarin
