New Zealand's FMA Warns Against Offshore Forex Broker CashFX

​The New Zealand's Financial Markets Authority​ (FMA) today published a warning on its website against Cash Forex Group/CashFX, an alleged forex broker based in Panama.

The firm is using or giving the following details:

In addition to the FMA, regulatory​ bodies in Norway, the United Kingdom, the Bahamas, Panama and five Canadian regulators have also issued a warning on Cash FX Group or placed the firm on their investor caution list.

The New Zealand watchdog has continued to strengthen regulatory effectiveness in the country through efforts in regime, enforcement actions and staffing. Fazzaco has recently reported the introducing of the regulator's new regulatory regime for financial advice​, a series of warnings​ it issued against suspicious entities and the appointment of its Executive Committee member​.
