OANDA Announces Promotion of Philip Waters to Head of APAC and Emerging Markets

Fazzaco learned that OANDA, a global leader in online multi-asset trading services, has promoted Philip Waters to the company's Head of APAC and Emerging Markets.

In his new role, Philip will be based in Singapore and will report to Gavin Bambury, OANDA's Chief Executive Officer.

As seen on his Linkedin profile, Philip joined OANDA in March 2020 as Head of Emerging Markets. Prior to joining OANDA, he previously served as Head of Emerging Markets at IG Singapore, where he spent for more than one year. Before this role, he spent more than 8 years with IG. Before arriving at IG, he finished his time at Lloyds TSB, where he worked as Credit Advisor.

As Fazzaco reported earlier, OANDA has promoted Mark Chesterman to the company's new Chief Risk Officer. Mark joined OANDA in November 2019 as Head of Trading.
