OANDA Japan to Increase Margin Rates for USD/SEK

OANDA Japan, the Japanese unit of OANDA, which is a leading online Forex & CFD trading provider, will raise the margin rates for the USD/SEK currency pair.

Specifically, the margin rate for USD/SEK will be raised from 2% to 3%. This change will apply to corporate accounts on the Tokyo server and NY server from the start of trading on November 7, 2022.

The broker warns customers who hold positions in the relevant currency pair will be subject to a loss cut over changes in the margin rate, if they continue to hold positions after the market closes on November 4, 2022. And it advises these customers to reduce their position in advance or to make sure that they have sufficient funds in their account.

Previously, OANDA Japan has increased margin rates for GBP/JPY and GBP/USD trading pairs on the NY server and Tokyo server from the level of 2% to 3.3%. Besides, it would change its brand logo​ to OANDA Securities from November 1, 2022.
