OKX Expands Operations to the Netherlands with Crypto Exchange Services

OKX, the second-largest crypto exchange by trading volume and a leading Web3 technology company, announced on Monday (June 3) the official introduction of its crypto exchange services and Web3 Wallet in the Netherlands, following its entry into Australia​ last month.

"Dutch customers can access spot (buy & sell) trading, as well as convert services, for over 150 cryptocurrencies including more than 60 crypto-Euro pairs through our OKX exchange platform," as shared by Lennix Lai, Global Chief Commercial Officer at OKX, on the X (formerly Twitter) yesterday.

OKX has integrated its trading platform with iDEAL, the online payment system in the Netherlands, enabling Dutch customers to instantly withdraw and deposit Euro funds to their OKX accounts.

The crypto trading giant continues to steadily expand its global presence. Since the beginning of this year, the exchange has entered markets in Dubai​, Turkey, Singapore​, and other regions. 

However, the company's expansion has also faced challenges. At the end of last month, OKX decided to withdraw its application for a virtual asset service provider license in Hong Kong and subsequently exit the market.
