Prop Firm TFT Announces New Payout Options Amid Lingering Concerns

Proprietary trading firm The Funded Trader (TFT) has announced a series of updates aimed at enhancing its platform, including the rollout of new withdrawal methods and an updated reward split policy. This announcement comes at a time when the firm is also grappling with a significant backlog of overdue client payouts, a situation that has been ongoing for several months.
According to a statement released by The Funded Trader, crypto withdrawals have been enabled for traders in numerous countries, including Singapore, Switzerland, Canada, Norway, Australia, Ireland, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, Israel, Puerto Rico, Belgium, Austria, Spain, Italy, France, and Greece, effective immediately. The firm stated that this provides a faster and more efficient withdrawal option for traders in these regions. For traders in the USA, crypto withdrawals are expected to be available within the next two weeks.
In addition to crypto withdrawals, The Funded Trader announced the upcoming launch of "Plane" withdrawals, which will eventually be available for all supported countries on the platform. Once implemented, traders will have three withdrawal options: Crypto, Rise, and Plane.
Alongside the new withdrawal methods, The Funded Trader has also updated its reward split policy. The minimum reward split for all challenges is now set at $100, and traders must have achieved at least 0.25% profit relative to their starting account size to be eligible for withdrawals. The firm explained that this change is intended to cover related fees and ensure smooth processing across all withdrawal methods. These updated requirements will be visible on The Funded Trader's new dashboard, scheduled to launch in April.
These announcements come against a backdrop of significant challenges for The Funded Trader in addressing overdue client payouts. Our recent report indicates that the number of affected clients has risen to 1,272, up from 900 in November 2023. The firm has acknowledged the growing issue and has conducted a survey on Discord to involve the community in finding a solution, presenting options such as prioritizing larger payouts, equal monthly payments, or a hybrid model.
