Sales Expert Ian Daniels Joins BGC Partners from Nomura

Fazzaco learned that BGC Partners, the leading brokerage and financial technology company, has hired sales veteran Ian Daniels as its Global Head of Fenics NDF.

Prior to the broker, Daniels served Nomura for over four years, where he joined as Executive Director, Head of eFX Distribution EMEA.

"After nearly 4 years at Nomura it's time for me to embark on a new adventure. Nomura is full of great people and I certainly learnt a lot in my time," Daniel posted on LinkedIn. "(In the new role) I'm looking forward to strengthening existing relationships and building many new ones."

Besides, Daniels has spent more than a decade at RBS. During this period, his senior positions include Director, Head of eFX Sales EMEA, and Director, FX eCommerce Sales.

In June, Fazzaco reported that BGC Partners has appointed Jason W. Hauf​ as Chief Financial Officer.
