Saul Knapp Promoted to Chief Operating Officer at Rostro Group

Fazzaco learned that Rostro Group, a fintech company focused on capital markets and Prime Brokerage, has promoted Saul Knapp to the Group Chief Operating Officer (COO).

With over 30 years experience in financial services, covering Exchange and OTC traded futures, options, FX and CFDs, Knapp joined the Group as Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in June 2022. Prior to that, he had served as CRO in Equiti Capital, a leading financial services provider of Forex and CFD liquidity and FCA-licensed UK arm of the Equiti Group Ltd, for two years and the same role in Britannia Global Markets Limited for nearly a year. Knapp had previously held leading roles in risk management and trading department at several firms in the industry, including GKFX and Saxon Financials.

Rostro had hired a number of talent executives in forex industry over the past year to enhance its leadership team with addition of  Head of Prime Brokerage Andrew Richards, Chief Information Officer John Williams​ and Chief Product Officer Mitesh Vaghela​.

Earlier in January, Rostro had completed the acquisition of the forex and CFDs trading provider Scope Markets​ with the completion of the change of control process. Further more, the Group is considering further expansion into MENA and the wider Asian regions in 2023, and has engaged 3rd parties to progress these strategic initiatives.
