Saxo Bank Promotes Ronni Bollerup Butler as Head of Electronic Trading & Trading Services

Saxo Bank, Copenhagen-based leading multi-asset trading and investment specialist, has promoted Ronni Bollerup Butler as its Head of Electronic Trading & Trading Services.
Butler has been with Saxo Bank since graduation for over a decade. He joined the bank in 2007 as an assistant before being promoted to manager in 2011, responsible for equity trading and order execution. In 2012, Butler assumed the role of Manager at Saxo Capital Markets, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Saxo Bank, where he was responsible for the business management of cash shares, CFDs, futures and exchange traded options. He returned to Saxo Bank in 2014 as a Senior Manager, and then worked his way up to Head of Futures and Options.
Butler earned his Bachelor's Degree of Economics from the University of Southern Denmark in 2006 and MSc in Accounting and Finance from Copenhagen Business School in 2008.
Saxo Bank has announced a number of personnel changes in two months. In July, the bank promoted Stuart Ogilvie to Wealth Management Value Proposition Senior Manager. In June, Martin Christiansen was promoted to Senior Director and Head of Partner Platforms at Saxo Bank, shortly after the appointment of Philip Frijs as New CEO for Nordic Region and Gyula Szathmary as Global Head of DXP & CMS Strategy.
