Saxo Bank Promotes Tara Tyan to Head of Go-to-Market for MENA, UK & Switzerland

Saxo Bank, the Copenhagen-based online trading and investment specialist, has promoted Tara Tyan to its Head of Go-to-Market for MENA, UK & Switzerland.

With over a decade of marketing experience, Tara joined Saxo Bank in July 2018 as Regional Head of Marketing. According to her LinkedIn profile, she had been the interim Head of Global Marketing at the bank for five months before her promotion was announced. Between June 2015 and March 2017, Tara had another tenure at Saxo Bank and had worked as the Marketing Manager for MENA for almost 2 years.

In addition to Saxo Bank, Tara had held leading roles in marketing division at several financial services firms including Equiti.com, FxPro, and Easy Forex.

It is worth mentioning that in early June, the bank announced that it had crossed the $100 billion mark in total assets and passed 1 million clients on its platform. However, the latest trading data it released showed that the bank's customer trading volume fell in June​ and July​ consecutively. This indicates that Saxo Bank has been partially impacted by the current complex macroeconomic environment, although it remains strong.
