Thomas Felber Joins FXCM as Product Director

Fazzaco learned that FXCM, a leading online forex trading and CFD broker, has appointed Thomas Felber as its new Product Director.

As seen on his linkedIn profile, Felber joins FXCM from Smart Valor, a major blockchain technology hub, where he served as Chief Technology Officer for over 5 years. During the tenure, he had successfully led Smart Valor to create and launch a compliant MVP for digital assets within 9 months.

Previously, Felber had held technical positions at several firms including Linde, a leading global industrial gases and engineering company, Tekaris GmbH, a Germany-based software company, and Reply, a company specialized in designing and implementing innovative solutions in the digital services, technology and consulting fields.

Felber joins FXCM after Ryan Leonard​, Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the broker left after more than 17 years. Also leaving FXCM after a very long tenure is Seth Lyons, brought in more than 12 years ago as Director of Production Engineering.
