Top 10 Crypto Exchanges End 2024 with Continued Growth in December, Binance Bounces Back to Trillion Club
Based on spot trading volume data since December 2024, Fazzaco has compiled the performance of the top ten crypto exchanges. In this month, the spot trading volumes have seen continued growth due to an optimistic market, and all crypto exchanges have seen monthly growth at different levels with the exceptions of Gate.io and LMAX Digital. The total volumes of ten grew from November's US$2136.59 M to this month's US$2230.28 M, a monthly rise of 4.39%.

The world's largest cryptocurrency exchange had a spot trading volume of US$1 trillion in December, a 1.42% up from US$986.01 billion in November.
The Korean crypto exchange Upbit had a spot trading volume of US$283.39 billion in December, up 20.84% from US$234.52 billion in November.
The Dubai-based crypto exchange Bybit had a spot trading volume of US$257.3 billion in December, up 20.29% from US$213.9 billion in November.
The leading US exchange Coinbase had a spot trading volume of US$191.87 billion in December, up 9.15% from US$175.79 billion in November.
OKX had a spot trading volume of US$177.78 billion in December, up 5.18% from US$169.02 billion in November.
The crypto exchange Gate.io, which was first established in China in 2013 and later moved to the Cayman Islands, had a spot trading volume of US$104.42 billion in December, down 34.36% from US$159.08 billion in November.
HTX had a spot trading volume of US$95.14 billion in December, up 14.19% from US$83.32 billion in November.
Kraken had a spot trading volume of US$55.91 billion in December, up 1.67% from US$54.99 billion in November.
The offshore-regulated crypto exchange Kucoin had a spot trading volume of US$53.21 billion in December, up 11.16% from US$47.87 billion in November.
LMAX Digital is a crypto exchange operated by the UK FCA-regulated LMAX Group. It had a spot trading volume of US$11.26 billion in December, down 6.87% from US$12.09 billion in November.
