Top 10 Crypto Exchanges Spot Volumes Drop 15% in March 2025

Fazzaco has compiled the performance of the top 10 crypto exchanges based on spot trading volume data since March 2025 for one month. All ten cryptocurrency exchanges in this statistic continued the downward trend in trading volume in March, with only HTX bucking the trend with an increase. Detailed data is shown below:

Binance

The world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, had a spot trading volume of US$583.45 billion in March, a 10.44% decrease from US$651.48 billion in February.

Coinbase

The leading US exchange, Coinbase, had a spot trading volume of US$102.08 billion in March, an 18.74% decrease from US$125.62 billion in February.

OKX

OKX had a spot trading volume of US$96.84 billion in March, a 10.82% decrease from US$108.59 billion in February.

HTX

HTX had a spot trading volume of US$92.56 billion in March, a 27.48% increase from US$72.61 billion in February. HTX was the only exchange to achieve an increase in March.

Upbit

The Korean cryptocurrency exchange, Upbit, had a spot trading volume of US$85.83 billion in March, a 15.45% decrease from US$101.51 billion in February.

Bybit

The Dubai-based cryptocurrency exchange, Bybit, had a spot trading volume of US$84.31 billion in March, a 52.35% decrease from US$176.95 billion in February, making it the exchange with the largest decrease in March.

Gate.io

The cryptocurrency exchange Gate.io, which was first established in China in 2013 and later moved to the Cayman Islands, had a spot trading volume of US$49.44 billion in March, a 16.96% decrease from US$59.54 billion in February.

Kraken

Kraken had a spot trading volume of US$34.82 billion in March, a 7.71% decrease from US$37.73 billion in February.

Kucoin

The offshore-regulated cryptocurrency exchange, Kucoin, had a spot trading volume of US$28.48 billion in March, a 17.76% decrease from US$34.63 billion in February.

LMAX Digital

LMAX Digital is a cryptocurrency exchange operated by the UK FCA-regulated LMAX Group. It had a spot trading volume of US$6.59 billion in March, a 5.59% decrease from US$8.73 billion in February.
