Top 10 Exchanges See 66% Surge in July Crypto Spot Volume

Fazzaco has compiled the performance of the top 10 crypto exchanges based on spot trading volume data for July 2025. Overall, the total spot trading volume for these ten exchanges jumped by 65.59% in July compared to June. All exchanges recorded a rise in trading volume, indicating a significant growth in market activity compared to the previous month.

Detailed data is as follows:
The world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, reported a spot trading volume of US706.07 billion in July, up 61.85% compared to 436.24 billion in June.
The Dubai-based exchange Bybit saw its spot trading volume decrease to US126.92 billion in July, up 54.80% from 81.99 billion in June.
South Korea's Upbit saw its spot volume increase to US112.65 billion in July, a substantial 145.64% rise from 45.86 billion in June. It is also the largest growth this month.
Leading US exchange Coinbase had a spot trading volume of US103.6 billion in July, a rise of 80.71% from 57.33 billion in June.
HTX recorded a spot trading volume of US102.71 billion in July, an increase of 12.53% compared to 91.27 billion in June. It is the smallest growth in this month.
OKX posted a spot volume of US99.97 billion in July, experiencing an incredible growth rate at 134.67% compared to 42.6 billion in June.
Gate.io, headquartered in the Cayman Islands, had a spot trading volume of US70.07 billion in July, up 58.74% from 44.14 billion in June.
Offshore-regulated Kucoin had a spot volume of US49.88 billion in July, a significant 123.48% rise from 22.32 billion.
Kraken reported a spot volume of US40.95 billion in July, up 32.95% from 30.8 billion in June.
UK FCA-regulated LMAX Digital had a spot volume of US9.31 billion in July, a 47.78% rise from 6.3 billion in June, marking the smallest volume among the ten.
