Toyo Securities Provides Connection to TSE's RFQ Platform CONNEQTOR

Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) today announced that Toyo Securities Co Ltd. (Toyo Securities) has joined as a broker to provide connectivity to its RFQ (Request For Quote) platform CONNEQTOR, which was launched last February with the aim of improving liquidity in the ETF market.

Toyo Securities will also provide a service to use CONNEQTOR on behalf of institutional investors so that they can use the service by phone. This brings the total number of brokers with CONNEQTOR available to institutional investors to 17.

Other brokers that provide access to CONNEQTO include BNP Paribas Securities Japan​, SMBC Nikko Securities, Nomura Securities, OKASAN SECURITIES, Barclays Securities Japan, Goldman Sachs Japan, Hirota Securities, Shin-Ogaki Securities, Shinkin Securities, Phillip Securities Japan, JPMorgan Securities Japan, Marusan Securities, Daiwa Securities, Mizuho Securities, Tokai Tokyo Securities, and Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities.

Recently, TSE had announced an agreement with the New York Stock Exchange​, part of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. to support cross-border investment between Japan and the U.S. by collaborating in areas including product development, marketing, and information sharing.
