Two Marketing Execs Leave M4Markets for Doo Prime

Following the departure of key members of the business development team​, M4Markets' Chief Marketing Officer, Marilena Iakovou, and Head of Marketing, Mariliza Karrera, also announced their move to Doo Prime, a retail FX and CFDs broker and a subsidiary of Doo Group. M4Markets is a Seychelles-regulated Forex and CFD broker.

Marilena and Mariliza both joined Doo Prime last month as Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Marketing, respectively, according to their LinkedIn profiles.

Marilena brings over 15 years of marketing experience to Doo Prime. In addition to her 3-year tenure as Chief Marketing Officer at M4Markets, she previously held the same role at Tickmill, a leading online broker, for over 3 years. Prior to that, Marilena had led the marketing efforts of well-known companies such as Orbex, IronFX Global, and Zegetron S.A. She earned her Master's Degree in Public Relations and Communication from La Salle University.

Mariliza had also worked in the marketing department of Tickmill for almost 3 years before joining M4Markets in September 2020. Previously, she held content writer and advocacy roles at companies such as PrimeXM, Career Addict, and DeltaQuest Group. Before 2015, she had been engaged in teaching English. Mariliza holds a Master's Degree in Translation Studies from the University of Surrey.

Doo Group has been on a hiring spree and has been staffing up recently. Earlier this month, senior HR expert Anca Ioana Ionescu​ joined the company as Head of HR for Europe from the multi-regulated broker Axi. Last month, former M4Markets BD manager Vong Phansavang Andreou moved to the group as a BD/Sales Manager.
