Wirex Resumes Services in UK Following Discussion with FCA

Fazzaco learned that Wirex, a leading digital payments platform designed to help users make the most out of their money, has resumed services in the UK following discussions with the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

According to Wirex, new users in the UK can now order its Mastercard debit card which enables holders to use various currencies at over 81 million places across the world. In addition, increased daily top-up and spending limits, exclusive OTC exchange rates, and zero fees on FX and transfers to contacts are now available to all UK users.

Furthermore, Wirex plans to futher expand services in the UK by launching Faster Payments in Wirex app soon.

Wirex has been enhancing its services globally. Recently, Wirex has reportedly introduced new payment methods to users in Malaysia, Indonesia​ and India to enhance payment experience for customers in Southeast Asia. Earlier this year, the company partnered with i2c Inc. to deliver its prepaid multi-currency debit card to the US.​
