Fazzaco learned that Blueberry Markets, an Australian-based FX trading platform, has appointed Govinda Pathak, Growth Lead at Sydney-headquartered investing platform Stake, as Head of Marketing. This appointment follows the recent hiring of James O'Neill, the ex-CEO of FairMarkets, and Christopher Nelson-Smith, the former Head of Risk of Vantage.
"As I embark on a new chapter in my professional journey, I'm thrilled to announce that I have joined Blueberry Markets as Head of Marketing! This transition is not just about taking on new challenges but also about reflecting on the journey that brought me here. I want to thank my team at Stake - esp. Bryan Wilmot, Louis and Matthew. Our achievements together are something I'll carry with pride," shared Pathak in a post on LinkedIn.
He continued: "As I step into my new role at Blueberry Markets, I am filled with excitement and a healthy dose of 'let's get this done!' energy. I am thoroughly impressed by what Dean and Ajak have built over time and I'm stoked to work with the entire marketing team to make it even bigger and better."
As seen on his LinkedIn profile, Pathak started his marketing journey in August 2012 when he joined an Indian company SBS Group as Marketing Manager. He had held leading marketing roles spanning several industries across India and Australia, including CMO at Urbanity Multisol Private Limited (a household service provider in India), Head of Digital Marketing & Digital Products at PSIPL (an integrated facility management services provider in India), and Product Marketing at WipeHero (an Australian cleaning services firm).
