iS Prime Appoints Phil Kim as Head of Sales Asia

iS Prime, subsidiary of iSAM Securities​, a provider of multi asset execution, prime brokerage and risk consultancy services to institutional clients globally, has hired Phil Kim as its new Head of Sales Asia, and Responsible Officer (RO) in Hong Kong.

As seen on his linkedIn profile, Kim joined iS Prime from Sucden Financial, a multi-asset execution, clearing and liquidity provider, where he served as Head of e-FX Sales Asia Pacific and RO for almost 5 years. Previously, he worked as Head of Institutional Sales Asia Pacific at LMAX Group, LMAX Group, a leading operator of institutional exchanges for trading FX and digital assets, from July 2015 to March 2018. His longest tenure was at FXCM Pro, the institutional brokerage and trading services arm of FXCM Group, where he held the role of Vice President for over 9 years.

Over the past three months, iS Prime has undergone a series of management changes. Earlier this month, Raj Sitlani and Jonathan Brewer​, co-founders of iS Prime, decided to end their careers in the company. Last December, its veteran Sales Director, Robert Buxton, resigned to start a data driven proprietary trading firm.
