Crypto.com Strengthens Leadership with FX Veteran Giuseppe Giuliani

Crypto.com has appointed Giuseppe Giuliani as Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Exchange, reinforcing its push for institutional and retail expansion. Giuliani, who previously held key roles at Kraken and Swissquote, brings extensive experience bridging traditional finance and digital assets. HFM has appointed Hayel Abu-Hamdan as its new Chief Commercial Officer, reinforcing its leadership team with a veteran who brings over 14 years of experience from Hantec Markets, where he played a key role in the company’s global expansion as COO and CCO. In his new role, Abu-Hamdan will oversee commercial strategy, product development, and market growth, focusing on strengthening HFM’s presence in the competitive retail FX and CFDs space. His appointment aligns with the company’s broader vision to enhance customer offerings and expand into new markets, ensuring continued innovation and value for traders worldwide.

Lendscape Undergoes Leadership Transition, Appoints Interim CEO

Lendscape has announced a major leadership transition as long-time CEO Kevin Day steps down after more than 40 years with the company, including eight as Chief Executive. While departing from his role, Day will remain engaged as an Executive Advisor and Board Member, ensuring continuity during the transition. Under his leadership, Lendscape expanded its global footprint, strengthened financial partnerships, and enhanced its technology solutions in receivables finance and asset-based lending.

To guide the company through this period, Martin Morrin, former Chairman of the Lendscape Advisory Board, has been appointed Interim CEO. With senior leadership experience at RBS/NatWest, Barclays, and Santander, Morrin’s background in receivables finance aligns with Lendscape’s long-term growth strategy. Additionally, the company has reinforced its executive team with the appointments of Patrick Myles as Chief Technology Officer and Gareth Evans as Chief Revenue Officer. Myles will focus on advancing Lendscape’s enterprise software capabilities, while Evans will lead revenue growth and client engagement efforts.

INFINOX CEO Jay Mawji Steps Down After 15 Years

INFINOX Capital Ltd, a global FX and CFD brokerage, has announced a leadership transition as CEO Jay Mawji steps down after 15 years at the helm, moving into a Board Advisory role where he will focus on strategic guidance and stakeholder relations. Throughout his tenure, Mawji played a crucial role in shaping INFINOX into a globally recognized brokerage, overseeing its expansion, strengthening its market presence, and navigating key industry challenges. Reflecting on his leadership, Mawji stated, "Leading INFINOX has been an extraordinary privilege. Together, we've achieved significant milestones and built a company that stands for integrity, innovation, and excellence." Lee Holmes, a member of INFINOX’s Executive Management team, praised Mawji’s contributions, emphasizing that his leadership had been instrumental in the firm’s success and global reputation.

TD Bank Appoints Raymond Chun as New CEO Amid Regulatory Challenges

Toronto-based TD Bank has appointed Raymond Chun as its new CEO, effective immediately, as the institution works to restore confidence following a historic $3 billion fine from U.S. regulators over anti-money laundering failures. Chun, a 30-year TD veteran with experience in wealth management, insurance, and Canadian personal banking, now faces the formidable task of strengthening compliance measures and revitalizing the bank’s struggling U.S. retail operations. His appointment comes as TD remains under strict regulatory oversight, with U.S. authorities imposing growth restrictions and appointing an independent monitor to supervise its activities. While Chun lacks deep U.S. regulatory experience, analysts see his leadership as a fresh start, with some investors optimistic that the strategic review he has launched will steer the bank toward stability. "He's not just a housekeeper. He is here and he's on his front foot," noted Anthony Visano of Kingwest and Co. TD’s stock, which has lagged behind peers, saw an upgrade from BofA Securities following Chun’s appointment, signaling renewed investor confidence.
